The Captive Eye

If she has a soul, does he?

The World Tree is shelter and home to the people of Midgard. Capable of stealing beliefs, inventing civilizations and eating planets, the World Tree is called the ‘Ragnarok device’ by the people of the Utgard, living in the shadow of the Device’s destructive power.

On the verge of killing his final target Constans Evander, a fanatical assassin sent to Midgard to kill the soulless heathens controlling the Device, is gunned down by his partner. Fatally wounded, he defies former allies and battles legendary monsters to uncover the truth about his mission before the enemy saboteur he’s come to love is destroyed by choices he’s come to regret.

Now he must question everything he knows about himself while the fate of both worlds hang in the balance.

Cold War meets the Matrix, “The Captive Eye” is a Gaslamp nobledark epic about lost souls, crushing moral choices, sacrifice and impossible forgiveness, set in a world inspired by Norse mythology.

It will be told in a series of five novellas. All supporters will receive an electronic copy of the first novella and credit in the published novel itself.
